PORTER rounds out Yoshida & Co.’s 90th-anniversary celebrations with the highly anticipated second release of the PORTER “TANKER COYOTE” collection. Stepping into a new era of its storied heritage, the Japanese luggage label is dropping a five-piece capsule that marries its iconic military-inspired aesthetic with next-generation materials.
The “ALL NEW TANKER” series is completely engineered from the world’s first mass-produced 100% plant-derived nylon, maintaining the recognizable glossy finish while updating the structural DNA. The collection arrives in a subdued “COYOTE” colorway, featuring a fully monochromatic exterior where the surface fabric, hardware parts, and classic brand labels are all unified in one tone. Inside, the bags offer a vibrant contrast with Yoshida & Co.’s original “Traveling Map” lining, featuring randomly placed map patterns that deliver a playful, peaceful message.
For the first time in the TANKER series’ long history, each item in this drop will be marked with a dedicated serial number tag, making every single piece entirely unique. The diverse lineup consists of five specific silhouettes: the Tactical Pack, Recon Bag, Communicator Bag, Tool Bag, and Bowling Bag.
The PORTER TANKER COYOTE collection drops April 15 via a special TANKER LIMITED STORE at Isetan Shinjuku Men’s Building, PORTER flagship locations, Dover Street Market, and online.
